Abstract :

The ESCo "Impacts of plant protection products on biodiversity and ecosystem services" was commissioned in March 2020 by the Ministère de la Transition Ecologique, the Ministère de l’Agriculture et de l’Alimentation and the Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche. It has been entrusted to INRAE and Ifremer. It continues and extends the work of two previous ESCo (Pesticides, agriculture et environment in 2005; Agriculture et biodiversité in 2008). The working group consisted of 3 scientific leaders (L. Mamy, S. Pesce and W. Sanchez), 45 scientific experts and 3 documentalists. The work of this group was coordinated by S. Leenhardt.
Among the topics addressed during this work, the question of the relationship between biocontrol and the environment was raised. Today's presentation will present the essential answers we have given to this question.
